North Carolina's 9th Annual Wilmington Oktoberfest will be bigger and better than any other year!  We've added events, expanded the KidsZone!, brought in celebrities, and have some great new sponsors.

It all starts with a KICK-OFF PARTY on Friday, September 17, 2010, at the Racine Commons Shopping Center, 250 Racine Drive, near Home Depot.  This party features the Harbour Towne Fest band and kicks off the Oktoberfest season of celebration.  Those present have a chance to brush up on German toasts and learn a few songs -- SURE to impress your friends at the Wilmington Oktoberfest!

The Wilmington NC Oktoberfest starts at 4:00 P.M. on Friday, October 15, 2010, with the ceremonial tapping of the first keg.  The band kicks in at 5:00 and plays continuously until 10:00 P.M. Friday.  The fun kicks into high gear on Saturday, October 16, with the band starting at 12:00 noon sharp (you know how us Germans are about punctuality!) and continues until 10:00 that night.  On Sunday, October 17, the festival continues, with hours of 12 noon - 5 PM.
